Archbishop Augustyn of Lviv sent to Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw a letter of condolences stressing that the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church suffered a great loss due to the death of the Brigadier General, Orthodox Ordinary of the Polish Army, Archbishop Miron of Hajnówka.
