Major Archbishop Emeritus Lubomyr Husar, Myroslav Popovch, Petro Poroshenko to Speak at Summit of Christian Professionals

The national summit of Christian Professionals "Change the Society through Your Profession and Belief" will be held on April 20-21 in Kyiv, in the Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy.

The summit speakers will include not only famous Ukrainian politicians, public figures, and businessmen, but also young activists who have started important social initiatives: Hanna Hopko, well-known champion against smoking in public places; Vitaliy Shabunin, chairman of the Center for Combating Corruption; journalist and political analyst Ostap Kryvdyk; and many others. Over the course of two days, more than a dozen important social and Christian initiatives that aim to change society for the better will be presented. There will also be professional workshops led by experts in law, medicine, psychology and journalism.

About the Summit

The summit is organized by the Alliance of Christian Professionals, the purpose of which is to build civil society on high professional standards and Biblical principles, which unites believing experts from different faiths and different professions (lawyers, businessmen, journalists, doctors, teachers, artists) for professional growth, deeper spiritual communion, and service through one’s specialty to God and others.
