At a seminar on the basics of PR and journalism held on November 24 in the Kyiv Bible Institute by representatives of the Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith in Kyiv, an educational manual “The Church and Media: Seven Steps to Understanding” was presented.
The seminar was attended by representatives of regional associations from all over Ukraine.
“Our goal is to improve the activity of the regional press services, exchange experience and learn from those who have practical experience in cooperating with secular mass media,” said the head of the press service of the Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, Lilia Luzhanska.
The organizers of the seminar conducted three thematic lectures on news journalism, crises PR and new media.
The lecturers also presented the book “The Church and Media: Seven Steps to Understanding” published by RISU. The manual containing practical recommendations and advice should considerably help representatives of the church press service to establish an effective dialogue with secular mass media.
