Marynovych (UCU): if Vilnius deal goes bust we must look for new ways to fight the regime

Protesting Ukrainians are sending a message to the world that Azarov’s voice is not the voice of Ukraine.

“Ukrainians have already done much for European integration. If the signing of the association agreement in Vilnius comes off, we will find new ways to fight,” human rights activist and pro-rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University Myroslav Marynovych told the Euro-rally in Lviv today, ZIK reports.

Some Ukrainians are pushing for more radical means of protest but the fact that the people have taken to the streets is already an achievement, Marynovych said.

Protesting Ukrainians are sending a message to the world that Azarov’s voice is not the voice of Ukraine. Our large-scale protests will make it easier for EU officials to make their decision in Vilnius, he said.
