"May the Lord forgive the murderers of my people and let us defend Ukraine," - pastor Mykola Romanyuk

Mykola Romanyuk, senior pastor at the Irpin Bible Church of the ECB during the enemy aggression against Ukraine, the bombing of Kyiv, on February 26, published a message on Facebook: "Kyiv is on fire. I'm crying because I can't believe that a horde from the East is ravaging a peaceful and ancient capital city."

"800 years ago, these were the hordes of Mongols-Tatars, now those are Russians and their accomplices.

For the first time that night, words of the curse were pronounced to Russian soldiers, officers, Putin, and the people who legalized all this. Life is devalued again: widows and heartbroken parents multiply. I want the price of this demonic bacchanal of death to be paid for a long time by all those who brought this death.

Who could tell Russian families that the number of people killed has already reached thousands? (I read their news, unlike the Ukrainian ones, they don’t say a word about their dead, only about their heroic progress).

Forgive me Lord Jesus and forgive the murderers of my people... and please help us fight back Ukraine," writes the pastor.
