Memorial Board Consecrated in Dnipropetrovsk to Remember Priests Killed by Stalin

In Dnipropetrovsk a memorial board was opened and consecrated to remember priests who served in the local Roman Catholic parish and were killed for the profession of their faith at the time of Stalin's repressions.

DNIPROPETROVSK – In the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk a memorial board was opened and consecrated to remember priests who served in the local Roman Catholic parish and were killed for the profession of their faith at the time of Stalin's repressions.  Documents regarding 10 parish priests executed by Stalin's regime in the 1930s have been found in archives.  RISU's Ukrainian-language website posted this story on April 14, 2010.

According to Prydniprovia information agency, the board was an initiative of the Roman Catholic parish of St. Joseph of Dnipropetrovsk. The board was installed on the Polish Catholic church, which was returned to the parish after 10 years of trials between the believers and an American corporation Dugsbery.
