Mentally ill man threw stone at synagogue in Kryvyy Rih

On the morning of July 21, a 102 emergency response team received a message that on Pushkina street, Kryvyy Rih an unknown man threw a stone into the synagogue and broke the glass of the front door. It is reported by the information portal "Vesti Prydniprovya".

Law enforcement arrive at the scene. On the spot, they found the offender — it was a 33-year-old local resident who was previously convicted.

Law enforcement officers found out that the man suffered from a mental illness and is registered with the hospital. The police instituted criminal proceedings on this ground under Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). Now all the details of the case are being clarified.
