For a provocative action of the Moscow Patriarchate, which “is not only directed against the Patriarchate of Alexandria but is an attempt to overthrow the entire canonical order of the Church,” spoke Metropolitan Gregory of Cameroon in his presentation at the recent meeting of the Holy Synod of the Hierarchy of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa, on the subject of the attempted intrusion of the Moscow Patriarchate into the canonical territory of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
