Metropolitan Onufriy (Berezovsky) obliged the clergymen of the UOC (MP) to commemorate Patriarch Kirill of the ROCduring worship as “our great master and father”.
He issued the above decree on Friday, December 12, as reported by ecclesiastical association “Forthe One Local Church”ontheir Facebook public page.
“You know that one of our community’s projects was telephone polling in the dioceses and interviews with the hierarchy whether they plan to stop remembering Patriarch Kirill. A Patriarch of the enemy countrywho acceptsspiritual blessing of aggression, isremembered in Ukrainian churches, as father and a great master. Our flock was painfully hurt with this,”he said in a statement.
In every diocese representatives of association “For the One Local Church” were told that it depended on the will of Metropolitan Onufriy whether to remember Patriarch Kirill or not.
“But from now our project has been collapsed,” they write. “Yesterday Metropolitan Onufriyordered at the assembly that all hierarchs are to remember the ROCPatrairch. We learned this from reliable sources”.
That is, we have to commemorate the Patriarch who comes to kill our brothers, who allows sanctifying weapons for killing us as a great master and father.
