On 1 February, the third anniversary of enthronement of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow was marked.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) was represented at the liturgy by Metropolitan Ahafangel (Savvin) of Odesa and Izmail.
The Head of UOC-MP, Metropolitan Volodymyr, sent a letter to Patriarch Kirill. “As we pray we wish Your Holiness blessed Patriarchal ministry in good health and well-being for the glory of the Holy Rus Orthodox Church! I would like to use this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your prayers for my health. Your support has been and continues to be a source of strength and inspiration for my further service to God and His Holy Church,” reads the address of the primate published by orthodox.org.ua.
