Metropolitan Volodymyr Held Memorial Service for Smolensk Plane Crash Victims

On April 11, 2010, at the Church of All Saints in the construction site of Resurrection Cathedral the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr, conducted a memorial service.

KYIV – On April 11, 2010, at the Church of All Saints in the construction site of Resurrection Cathedral the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr, conducted a memorial service. At the Bethlehem Icon of the Theotokos the hierarch offered prayers for the repose of the souls of Archbishop Miron of Hajnowka and other victims of Smolensk tragedy, reports the website of the UOC-MP.  

Also in a telephone conversation the primate of the UOC-MP expressed sympathy to Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland regarding the death of the president of Poland, his wife, and the accompanying persons.
