Million of Tourists Visited Kyiv Cave Reserve Last Year

The number of the visitors of the Kyiv Cave National Historic and Cultural Reserve have grown considerably during the New Year celebration time.

The number of the visitors of the Kyiv Cave National Historic and Cultural Reserve have grown considerably during the New Year celebration time. It was visited by 4870 persons in two days, reported  Kyiv.comments.ua.

On 31 December, the reserve was visited by 1070 persons.  On 2 December, the workers of the museum campus conducted 67 excursions. On 2 December, 3800 visitors saw the architectural and cultural monuments of the Orthodox shrine.

“In total, in 2011, the reserve was visited by over a million tourists. During the last year, the reserve organized  excursions for 37 government delegations and top statesmen in seven languages. Last year, over 15 thousand of excursions were conducted as compared to the planned 12 thousand.
