Over 2,000 Bratslav Hasidim came to Uman to celebrate Shavuot 5782.

This is data from the Rabi Nachman international charitable foundation, JewishNews reports.

The full-scale war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which has already been going on for more than 100 days, does not stop Hasidic pilgrims from visiting the grave of Rabbi Nachman in Uman.

The head of the Rabbi Nachman Foundation, Nathan Ben-Nun, said that this time it was difficult to come to Uman, very expensive, and many were stuck on the road. But when the rabbi said to arrive, the people came.

This year Shavuot will be celebrated immediately after Shabbat, from Saturday evening, June 4, to Monday evening, June 6, in Ukraine and other countries outside of Israel, and in Israel only from the evening of June 4 to the evening of June 5.
