Mufti of Crimea asked Muslims to assist people regardless of their nationality and religion

The spiritual leader of Muslims of Crimea Emirali Ablaev urged Muslim religious ministers to provide full assistance to the population of Crimea due to the extraordinary situation, to be sensitive to the needs and demands of the Crimean people, regardless of nationality and religion.

The Crimean Mufti said this on December 1 at the monthly meeting of the imams and heads of religious communities.

The meeting was attended by religious ministers from all regions of the Crimea, they shared the situation of Muslim communities in their regions and told how locals are coping with the absence of electricity and what joint measures are taken to overcome the situation.

Major regional imams told that Muslims are concerned with peninsula blackout and suffer many inconveniences, but remain optimistic and confident that the situation will soon normalize.

"Our main task is to call for peace and good cooperation, in every word and every adress we must care about the welfare of Crimea and all its inhabitants" - the Mufti Emirali Ablayev said.
