Said Ismagilov, Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah", urges Muslims to pay zakat al-Fitr, which is paid by Muslims at the end of Ramadan, for the needs of refugees from the Crimea and Donbas.

"I recommend to give your donations to the mosque and Islamic cultural center, which has organized volunteer work to help our fellow believers who find themselves in dire straits. For Muslims, who are exposed to ATO, I recommend to give your zakat al-Fitr, primarily to older people, people in need and orphans (as sometimes there are difficulties with pensions and other social benefits), as well as patients in need of medication. I recall that in Ukraine this year, the size of Zakat al-Fitr is 50 UAH per person and must be paid before the festive prayer" Mufti wrote on his Facebook page.
