On May 21, 2010, in Chernivtsi, the 16th convention of the Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith of Ukraine, which was attended by 518 delegates from all the regions of Ukraine and about a hundred official guests, came to a close.
According to the press service of the CCEFU, the United Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, the Union of Free Churches of Christians of Evangelical Faith, partner missionary, charitable, and public organizations were invited. The guests of the convention included ministers of Pentecostal association of Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, USA, and other countries.
During the convention, the leaders of the Union of Churches of Christians of Evangelical Faith, namely, the senior bishop, his deputies, and heads of departments, were elected. The participants elected Mykhailo Panochko the head of the union and Viktor Boryshkevych, Yurii Veremii, Mykhailo Mokienko, and Oleksandr Babiichuk his deputies in different regions.
