Nebizh village community in Zhytomyr region is the 500th parish to join OCU

The Parish of John the Theologian in the village of Nebizh in Zhytomyr region became the 500th that switched from the UOC-Moscow Patriarchate to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The Parish of John the Theologian in the village of Nebizh in Zhytomyr region became the 500th that switched from the UOC-Moscow Patriarchate to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

Holding a crucifix, the priest of the UOC-MP cursed his former flock standing in front of the church door, and in return they wished him health.

As of March 26, 2019, 501 parishes have already moved to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
