New Bishop consecrated in UAOC
On September 2, 2018, of Archimandrite Havryil (Kryzyna) was consecrated as the Bishop of Rivne and Volyn, the governor of the Rivne-Volyn diocese (the decision of the Bishops' Council of July 25, 2018) in the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Holy Theotokos in Lviv.

The service was led by the Primate of the UAOC in concelebration of Archbishop Tikhon of Ternopil and Bucha, ruling bishop of Ternopil and Odesa-Black Sea dioceses, Bishop Victor of Mukachevo and Carpathian, ruling bishop of the Carpathian diocese, Bishop Borys of Kherson and Mykolaiv, ruling bishop of the Tauride diocese; the clergy of the cathedrals of Lviv and Ternopil, of the dioceses of Lviv, Ternopil and Carpathian diocese. A day before, during the Vespers, the rite of nomination of Archimandrite Havryil (Kryzyna) was served. The next day, on Sunday, Archimandrite Havryil made a confession of the Orthodox faith, and during the Liturgy the rite of ordination was performed. Primate of the UAOC, Metropolitan Makariy, addressed the newly-consecrated bishop with a word of instruction and handed him episcopal rod, a symbol of archpastoral ministry.
