New Muslim Ritual Complex Opened in Simferopol

In the Abdal Cemetery in Simferopol, the ceremony of the opening of the first Crimean large Muslim ritual complex was held.

In the Abdal Cemetery in Simferopol, the ceremony of the opening of the first Crimean large Muslim ritual complex was held. The complex consists of “Araba k’apu” (entrance gate built in the style of the gates of the Khan Palace in Bakhchisarai), shadirvan (summer washing place), a building where dzhenaze namazu is conducted in winter, abdestkhane (washing room), room for washing dead bodies, two offices and a summer shed.

So reported the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Crimea (SBMC).

The ceremony was attended by the Mufti of the Crimean Muslims, Khadzhi Emirali Ablaev, first deputy head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars People, Refat Chubarov, Deputy Representative of the President in the Crimea, Ibraim Mamutov, Head of the Republican Committee of the Crimean Autonomous Republic on Interethnic Relations, Edem Dudakov.
