NSDC sanctions vicar of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery, ex-MP Novynskyi

Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council has imposed personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) on former Ukrainian MP Vadym Novynskyi, a vicar of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery, Petro Lebid, and a number of priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

A respective document has been published on the website of the head of state.

According to the document, sanctions and restrictive measures have been imposed for five years on businessman and cleric of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Vadym Novynskyi, vicar of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Petro Lebid, and other priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

There are ten people on the list to whom sanctions have been applied.
