OCU spokesman indicates the only obstacle that might prevent Patriarch Bartholomew from visiting Ukraine

25.06.2021, 10:14

In an interview with Saken Aimurzayev on the DetectorUA YouTube channel, the spokesman of the OCU, Archbishop Yevstratiy Zorya, said that there are no signs that the visit of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine will not take place-neither on the part of the Ecumenical Patriarchate itself, nor on the part of the Ukrainian church or the Ukrainian state.

"Only some completely unpredictable things can interfere. We now live in a time when a pandemic suddenly hit and what seemed impossible becomes part of everyday life," the Archbishop concluded.
