On August 16, 2012, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yuriy Bohutsky and Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Mykhailo Kostiuk will attend the opening of the Fourth Congress of the All-Ukrainian Union of Evangelical Christians Baptists.
According to the press service of the Union of Evangelical Christians Baptists, at the opening of the event representatives of the church and state will hold a briefing for the media, where on the eve of Independence Day they will discuss ways to revive Ukraine by improving relations between the state and the church.
Members of Congress will report about help for orphans, low-income families, the disabled, prisoners, people with alcohol or drug dependence, youth, and about military pastoral care.
During the congress consultations will be given for couples experiencing a family crisis and for young couples.
Event organizers plan to provide answers to the question of how to protect children and family values in the current society. They will also share examples of effective ways to resolve social problems.
