In the 90 days since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 400 communities have left the Moscow Patriarchate and joined the OCU.

The OCU reported this on their Facebook page.

"In the 90 days since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we have already accepted more than 400 communities from all over Ukraine, which by an absolute majority of votes confirmed their withdrawal from the Moscow Patriarchate and, following the Tomos on Autocephaly, joined the local Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Among them, 50 communities passed directly under the Omophorion of the Primate – His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and all Ukraine," the OCU notes.

"Our Church is truly an open Church for everyone! We do not want to punish or condemn anyone for the past – God is the judge of everything – but we want to serve our people and our native country together, as a single spiritual front, truthfully creating the future of the One Local Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as defined by the Holy Canons and the Tomos of Autocephaly.

The irreversible process of transitions continues, so let's unite the Church, strengthen our spiritual front together, and protect the state! Our strength lies in unity," the clergy note.
