Pastor Burns on Russian attack: This is life when your neighbor becomes a madman

Pastor Mark Burns, a spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump, called for unity in response to Russia's large-scale attack on Ukraine.

He wrote about this on social media X, as reported by Ukrinform.

"Right now, Ukraine is under a relentless missile barrage. Putin’s forces are sending drones. Kyiv is ablaze. Houses are burning. Explosions shake the streets. Air defenses are scrambling to protect innocent lives. This is life when your neighbor becomes a madman," Burns wrote.

He wonders: “How will humanity pass this test this moment when evil is unleashed so openly? How do we rise strong enough to resist it and defeat it?”

“We will do it by standing on faith, not fear. By uniting across nations, not dividing over lines. By speaking truth when lies roar, and by loving those who are attacked,” the pastor wrote.

Russia launched nearly 500 strike drones and over 40 missiles, including "Kinzhal" missiles, targeting Ukrainian cities during the night and into the morning. Four people were killed in Kyiv, and at least 40 others were wounded across Ukraine.
