Patriarch Sviatoslav Presents UGCC Catechism at Meeting of Bishops in Zagreb

During the meeting of Bishops of the Catholic Churches of the Eastern Rite in Zagreb on 22-25 November, the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Patriarch Sviatoslav presented to the participants the Catechism of the UGCC.

During the meeting of Bishops of the Catholic Churches of the Eastern Rite in Zagreb on  November 22-25, held on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Union of the Croatian Greek Catholic Church with Rome, the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk presented to the participants the Catechism of the UGCC, “Christ is our Pascha.”

According to the hierarch, the catechism is aimed to help Ukrainian Greek Catholics to deepen the knowledge of the faith in Christ and to strengthen the faith, to protect and defend the Christian tradition of St. Volodymyr, testify to the connection between the Christian tradition of Kyiv and Catholic Christianity.
