On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's independence, on August 24, 2020, an interfaith Prayer for Peace and Blessing of Ukraine was held near the Cathedral of St. Sophia of Kyiv.”
It was attended by members of the All-Ukraine Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, in particular the Head of the UGCC, Patriarch Sviatoslav, and the Head of the OCU, Metropolitan Epifaniy.
