One of the leaders of the Motherland party, Mykola Tomenko, and a Ukrainian deputy, Andrii Shkil, sent an address to the head of the Party of the Regions, Mykola Azarov, with a request to explain the position of the party on the membership and activity in the public organization Young Regions of the pastors of the Embassy of God against which legal proceedings have been instituted, Religion in Ukraine reported with reference to LB.ua and the website of the Motherland party.

In his address, Mykola Tomenko wrote that despite the proceedings instituted against the leader of the Embassy of God, Sunday Adelaja, and the pyramid scheme King’s Capital, branches of the organizations continue their lively activity in the regions of the country.

Tomenko noted that the resolution on the institution of legal proceedings reads that from 2004 to 2008, the pastors of the Embassy of God religious community in Lviv Oblast seized other people’s property on a very large scale.

However, according to the journalists, the worst news for the victims of the fraud was the fact that the pastors found shelter in the party membership in the public organization Young Regions. The leaders of the Lviv regional organization of Young Regions have recently participated in the organization of a meeting in support of the social initiatives of President Viktor Yanukovych in Lviv. At the same time, they are the founders and pastors of the Lviv branch of the Embassy of God involved in the fraud.
