President and government are urged to rebury of Stepan Bandera in Ukraine

09.03.2021, 11:31

Stepan Bandera should be reburied in Ukraine. He should be the first to find eternal rest in the pantheon of Heroes of Ukraine on his native Ukrainian land.

Such an appeal to the state leadership was made by the mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal, reports Tenews.

"I appeal to the president, the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers: a pantheon of Heroes should appear in Kyiv. This is the only way we can protect the honor and glory of our heroes. Therefore, like Taras Shevchenko, Stepan Bandera should be reburied in Ukraine. Stepan Bandera should also be re-awarded the title hero of Ukraine. This will be a worthy example for posterity of how to honor your heroes. Now we need to take all the measures so that acts of vandalism and abuse of the graves of our heroes do not happen again, and criminals must be severely punished. Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes," said Serhiy Nadal.

It should be noted that the other day in Munich, Germany, the grave of Ukrainian nationalist and OUN leader Stepan Bandera was doused with an unknown substance.
