President Yanukovych Confers Order on Archbishop of UOC-MP

Archbishop Ionafan (Yeletskyh) of Tulchyn and Bratslav of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was awarded with the state Order of Ukraine “For Merits” of the 3rd degree.

On February 27, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Vinnytsia Oblast, by the Decree of President Viktor Yanukovych and upon recommendation of the head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, M. Dzhyha, Archbishop Ionafan (Yeletskyh) of Tulchyn and Bratslav of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was awarded with the state Order of Ukraine “For Merits” of the 3rd degree, reported the web site of the archbishop.
