Earlier, mass media published information that Patriarch Kirill will hold an unofficial meeting with Viktor Yanukovych in the Crimea, where the president is on vacation.
In addition, the head of the Committee on Organization of the Visit of Patriarch Kirill to Ukraine, the administrator of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate, Archbishop Mytrofan of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav, reported that Patriarch Kirill has no intention to meet President Yanukovych.
However, later, the deputy head of the presidential administration, Hanna Herman, stated that the meeting will take place.
