Priests of four different denominations prayed together for Ukraine in St. Sophia of Kyiv

Orthodox, Greek Catholic, Roman Catholic and Protestant prayed together for Ukraine in the National Reserve "St Sofia of Kyiv".

A joint prayer in the main monument of Ukraine, in front of the image of Our Lady of Oranta, was performed by: Fr. George Kovalenko, priest of the OCU, Fr. Tom Kushka, priest of the UGCC, Fr. Petro Balog, priest of the RCC, Fyodor Raychynets, pastor of the WCC ECB and sister Yelizaveta Varnitska, CHSVV UGCC.

The priests prayed for the Ukrainian people, the army, refugees and those who receive them, for the wounded, for those who are physically and mentally injured, and for the doctors who treat them. For those who are in need, for volunteers.

They also prayed for the repose of the souls of all military personnel, territorial defense soldiers who died defending Ukraine, civilians who died from shelling, bombing and torture, without water, food and medicine - children, women and men.

Finally, the spiritual anthem of Ukraine "Lord, oh the Great and Almighty, Protect our beloved Ukraine" was performed in the cathedral.
