The press service of the Kyiv Metropolia of the UOC-OCU reports that on January 15, 2022, in the afternoon, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy got a positive test for coronavirus. Last year, the Primate of the OCU underwent a full course of vaccination.
Due to the illness, Metropolitan Epifaniy will remain in self-isolation and outpatient treatment, and will not perform divine services or receive visitors during the next week.
"We ask the clergy and faithful to offer prayers for the speedy recovery of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine", the press service urged.
