Primate of the UOC MP asks to allow his bishops to travel abroad

The head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Onufriy (Berezovsky), appealed to the chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine with a request to allow five hierarchs of the denomination to leave Ukraine to organize parishes for Ukrainian refugees.

This is stated in the letter of Metropolitan Onufriy to the chairman of the State Border Guard Service, General Sergei Deineko, which is available at LB.ua.

In particular, the head of the UOC-MP requests to allow the departure of the UOC-MP administrator, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakaniyh) of Boryspil and Brovary.

The list also includes Metropolitan Meletiy (Yegorenko) of Chernivtsi and Bukovina, Archbishop Evseviy (Dudka) of Shepetivka and Slavuta, Bishop Lavr (Berezovsky) of Irpin and Bishop Mark (Andryuk) of Borodyansk.
