Protestants to prepare All-Ukraine Thanksgiving Day

On September 23, 2018, the All-Ukrainian Thanksgiving Day will be celebrated in Kyiv, where the blessings of God will be proclaimed, the believers will thank God for His generosity and opportunities they receive, and ask for His kindness and blessings for the future of the State.

Last year, 200,000 Ukrainians from the most remote parts of Ukraine gathered in the central square of the capital to participate in the Thanksgiving feast, which was organized by Protestant organizations. Prayers of gratitude to the Lord, unique expositions, workshops, musical performances of famous artists were a testimony that pointed to God who should be offered due gratitude and respect.

Representatives of different confessions and families are invited to participate, in order to support the establishment of the tradition to celebrate annually the Thanksgiving Day in Ukraine.

Last year on the Thanksgiving Day, on Kyiv's main street Khreschatyk, hundreds of thousands of Kyivites and guests of the capital became listeners of the world-renowned Christian preacher, Nick Vuichich. The Australian came to Kyiv to cheer up Ukrainians who are faced with an ongoing war in the east and various social hardships.
