Unknown people broke a window in the house of the rector of St Prophet Elias Church, Archpriest Victor Bilan in the village of Velykyy Bychkiv in Zakarpattia.

Attached to the stone was a note with threats.

The ruling bishop of the Zakarpattia diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Bishop Varsonofiy (Rudnyk) wrote about it on his Facebook page.

“These are the methods used to intimidate our priests in Transcarpathia! Today, at night, a window was broken in the house of the rector of St. Elias Church of the OCU, Archpriest Victor Bilan. It was broken with a stone to which the note “This is the beginning of the end” was attached. Canonical Intimidation, or Russian World in action? I appeal to the law-enforcement agencies of Transcarpathia to objectively investigate this fact, and I ask journalists to highlight this crime in the media,” the bishop said.
