Relics of St. Andrew Brought to Lviv

The relics of St. Andrew the First-called have been brought to Lviv from the Vatican. The relics stay in the Church of St. Andrew on the Soborna Square.

The relics were brought to Lviv by Bishop Irynei Bilyk, a canon of the Papal Basilica Saint Mary Major (Vatican).   

According to the senior priest of the Church of St. Apostle Andrew, Mykhailo Luchkiv, the relics will stay in the church permanently from December 11.

On December 13, Christians celebrate the Day of St. Andrew the First-called according the church calendar.
