On the feast of St. Andrew, the first - called, December 13, at 9:00 in St. Andrew's church (Kyiv, St. Andrew's Descent, 23), a solemn Liturgy will be held, which will be led by a special representative of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew - Metropolitan Emmanuel of Gaul (Adamakis), concelebrated by the Exarch (ambassador) of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Ukraine - Bishop Bishop Mykhailo (Anishchenko) of Komana.
The liturgy will be held on the occasion of the completion of the 11-year restoration of St. Andrew's Church, which will now become the main church of the Stavropegia, that is, the representative office of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine.
At about 12:00, representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Metropolitan Emmanuel of France and Bishop Mykhailo (Anishchenko) of Komana, will hold a briefing on the work of the Ecumenical Patriarch's Stavropegia in Ukraine on the steps of St. Andrew's church.
After the solemn service, a short concert of sacred music will be held performed by the "Khoreya Kozatska" group under the direction of Taras Companichenko.

Note that the decision to restore its stavropegia in Kyiv was made by the Synod of the Orthodox Church of Constantinople under the chairmanship of Patriarch Bartholomew on October 11, 2018.
On October 18, 2018, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law "on the specifics of using St. Andrew's Church of the National Reserve "Sofia of Kyiv", according to which St. Andrew's Church was transferred to permanent and free use to the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
On January 11, 2019, Archimandrite Mykhailo (Anishchenko) headed the Stavropegia of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine, and on November 8, 2020, he was elevated to the rank of Bishop of Komana.
