At a meeting of the communal commission of the Rivne Oblast Council, which was held on November 29, the councillors decided to visit Dubno to see with their own eyes the state of the local synagogue.

The Dubno City Council appealed to the regional representatives to put the synagogue to their books. However, the deputy of the regional council Mykhailo Kyryllov suggests that this way the building is prepared for sale. In turn, the regional council deputy chairman noted that in case the building is subordinate to the local authorities it will be easier to find money for its repair.

Currently, the synagogue is on the books of the historical and cultural reserve of Dubna.

In order to understand the situation, the commission members decided to go to Dubno and see the state of the synagogue with their own eyes, according to TakeInfo.net.
