Russian drones strike a church in the Odessa region

On the night of June 7, the Russian army launched a drone attack on the Odessa region, targeting the social infrastructure of the village of Ovidiopol.

This was reported by the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

“In accordance with the procedural guidance of the Black Sea District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes as stipulated in Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the statement says.

On the night of June 7, Russian armed forces launched an attack on the Odesa region using strike drones, specifically targeting the Odesa district.

The extent of the destruction and damage is currently being assessed. Prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of this attack. As a result, a church building and other infrastructure in the village of Ovidopol were damaged.
