Hostile resources are spreading fake information that Pope Francis has been added to the Myrotvorets (“Peacemaker”) database.
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
Allegedly, Pope Francis was added to the Ukrainian Myrotvorets database because the Pontiff called on Russian youth to never forget their historical heritage and said "thank you" for their way of being "Russians."
"The information that the Pope was added to the Myrotvorets database is an invention of Russian propagandists aimed at discrediting Ukraine in the international arena. There is no mention of the Pontiff on the website," emphasizes the Center.
The Center calls on Ukrainians to trust only sources of verified information.
