The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Epiphany, in connection with the shelling by Russian troops of the correctional institution in the occupied Olenivka in the Donetsk region, said that the international court in The Hague and a new Nuremberg await the Russians.
According to Ukrinform, Metropolitan Epifaniy wrote about this on Twitter.
"The abuse, torture, and murder of captured Ukrainian soldiers by Russian killers is yet another evidence that the ideology of the 'Russian World' should be banned, just as Nazism and Bolshevism are banned," Epifaniy said.
"Rushists will face the international court in The Hague and a new Nuremberg! Evil must be condemned!" Stressed the Head of the OCU.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops deliberately used artillery to hit the correctional facility in Olenivka, where Ukrainian prisoners were held.
In the village of Olenivka near Mariupol in the Donetsk region, there are two filtration prisons set by the invaders. They are used to detain former law enforcement officers, pro-Ukrainian activists, "unreliable" persons before sentencing or undergoing filtering, and volunteers who evacuated the people of Mariupol. There was also information that captured Ukrainian soldiers were brought here from Mariupol.
