Saakashvili: The Russian Empire would cease to exist on the Maidan in Kyiv

The head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate Filaret during his visit to the US held a meeting with the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, the press service of the UOC-KP informs.
"It is true, there will come a time when historians will write that the Russian Empire ceased to exist on the Maidan in Kyiv. And that's how it will be. The nation will win and I believe there will be a better to fate and future that will unite all nations," Saakashvili said.
