Scientists of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine addressed the leadership of the state, the president, prime minister and speaker, and clergymen with a proposal to introduce Thanksgiving Day as a national holiday. The scientists explained that a day of thanskgiving to God is necessary because the Ukrainian society is spiritually sick and needs repentance and conversion to God. Otherwise, we are all doomed to self-destruction, representatives of the Ostrih Academy told RISU.
