Employees of the Uman Regional Hospital delivered 7 Hasidic women over the past month.

An article by Ukrinform reports about the situation in Uman on the eve of the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), which will be celebrated on September 6-8, according to Jewish news.

Chief physician Inna Dobryanska said that the medical institution has 205 beds, but during the Rosh Hashanah celebration, an additional 50 beds will be added.

All Hasidic women have received emergency medical care, and if a Hasidic is brought in by ambulance or if he has a referral from a doctor, they are served free of charge. But if there is no referral, then a fee is charged in accordance with the tariffs.

Inna Dobryanska also shared that all medicines and equipment (including very expensive ones) brought by Hasidim remain in two Uman hospitals. The chief physician also recalled that last year Hasidim bought a covid laboratory worth UAH 2 million for Uman, which helped a lot in the midst of the pandemic.
