In their address to the Russian people on the tragedy in Domodedovo, the Muslim organizations of Ukraine expressed their grief and indignation at the terrorist act, which killed dozens and wounded over one hundred innocent people.

The Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Ukraine "Umma" and the All-Ukrainian association "Alraid" condemned the terrorist act in Moscow's Domodedovo airport.

In their address to the Russian people on the tragedy in Domodedovo, the Muslim organizations of Ukraine expressed their grief and indignation at the terrorist act, which killed dozens and wounded over one hundred innocent people.

"We strongly condemn that inhuman act directed, in our opinion, at stirring  international and interreligious hatred in the Russian society. We are certain that the criminals who committed that crime have no nationality or religion for all the world's religions strongly condemn terrorism, the murder of innocent people for political interests. The Holy Quran equates the murder of an innocent person with the annihilation of the entire humankind. Human life in Islam is viewed as the highest gift of God," reads the address.

The Muslims of Ukraine call the Russians of all nationalities and confessions to keep self-control and remain calm, and "not to yield to the provocations of forces seeking to drag Russia into the bottomless pit of dissension and chaos."

"We, the Muslims of Ukraine, express our deepest condolences to our Russian brothers and the victims and their family members and relatives," reads the address.
