Supreme Court ruling: Unauthorized hotel to be demolished near Tzadik Nachman's grave in Uman

The Supreme Court of Ukraine has ordered the demolition of an illegal 8-storey building near the grave of tzaddik Nachman in Uman, Cherkasy region. The court's decision was final, and it refused to consider a complaint filed by the owner of the land plot, who constructed the hotel in a protected area.

This was reported by Ukrinform.

The building must be demolished at the developer's expense.

It is noted that the hotel was built in violation of the law without the permission of the Cultural Heritage Protection Authority in the protected area of the monument of local significance grave of Tzaddik Nachman.

Earlier, the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal of Kyiv ruled to demolish an eight-story building in Uman, built in violation of the law.
