On 1 January, at 2 am, in the town of Kremenchuk of Poltava Region, unknown persons set fire to a synagogue.

According to the local Center for Propaganda of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Ukraine, a concrete beam at the entrance to the synagogue was damaged by fire. The material loss is being established.
