A regular session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church began in the Kyiv Cave Monastery under the headship of Patriarch Kirill.

A regular session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church began in the Kyiv Cave Monastery under the headship of Patriarch Kirill.  

Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan) and Metropolitan Nyfont of Lutsk and Volyn represent the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) at the session.

According to the web site of UOC-MP, the Head of the Russian Orthodox Church came to the Kyiv Cave Monastery right after his arrival in Ukraine.
