The Department for External Church Relations of the UOC-MP received instructions from the Holy Synod to organize and coordinate the spiritual care of the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the M.P. outside of Ukraine.

This is reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC-MP.

"Given the large number of believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church who live or work abroad, the Holy Synod stated the need for their spiritual care.

Diocesan bishops were blessed to inform the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC about the places of compact residence of lay people from the dioceses entrusted to them outside of Ukraine. The purpose of this is to further organize missions or parishes for UOC believers abroad," the UOC-MP said in a statement.
