Terrorists in Sloviansk (Donetsk region) released bishop Oleksiy Demidovich after keeping him 7 hours captured in the building of the Security Service of Ukraine, Religion in Ukraine reports, referring to InVictory.

"Just released. The reasons for the detention are still unknown," InVictory was told.

The source said that the Oleksiy Demidovich during the crisis in the east of Ukraine provided assistance to the families from different sides of the confrontation.

Bishop Oleksiy Demidovich was arrested and taken to the local SBU building, which is under the control of pro-Russian terrorists. There he was held for about 7 hours.

Svetlana Spivakova wrote on her Facebook page that the people who arrested Demidovich also seized a church building. She also notes that he was accused of collaborating with the Right Sector.
